The Grand Wailea
The Grand Wailea certainly lives up to its name. Whether you've booked a stay and explored one of the nine sparkling pools or just driven by the sprawling estate on your way to Big Beach, it's safe to say that it's become a staple since it opened on Maui. So I was so excited to memorialize the last 25 years for them with a series of three vintage-inspired travel posters.
The first piece is of a Koa wood canoe that they are in the process of restoring with a view of the sunset over Lanai.
The Grand Wailea gives visitors the chance to not only sit by the pool and take in the scenery, but to dive into Maui with great adventures and the only resort-designated SCUBA training pool in Hawaii. To portray this, the second design is a view from the water looking back at the resort's picturesque estate. The happy honu (turtle), a common site in the waters near the Grand Wailea, comes up for air near another Koa wood canoe.
And the last print celebrates the resort's signature feature - the reflection pool looking out to the ocean.
